David Devilbiss is Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer at  Cerora. Inc. Dr. Devilbiss is an expert in brain function who has conducted extensive studies of the EEG (Electroencephalograph) –specialized experience that uniquely qualifies him to lead Cerora’s research programs.

He most recently served as Assistant Research Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin--Madison, and, prior to that was founder and president of NexStep biomarkers, a company providing in vivo and in vitro electrophysiological markers of drug actions in the brain.

Earlier Dr. Devilbiss gained international recognition as an expert in EEG signal processing when he successfully constructed an elaborate pre-clinical/clinical EEG system at Merck Research Laboratories (MRL). He is author of XX published studies on brain function.

Dr. Devilbiss completed his post-doctoral studies in neurochemistry and neurophysiology at the Dept. of Psychology of the University of Wisconsin. He was awarded a PhD in Neuroscience by Drexel University’s combined Masters/PhD program for scholars, and earned his BS degree in Psychology at the University of Delaware.
